Recently uncovered box of original Pitchfork compression bolts from the 90’s. Back in the early days of 1 1/8″ headsets, Taiwan didn’t manufacture hollow bolts, so we made them ourselves. These steel bolts were purchased domestically and drilled by hand. Seems crazy in 2025 but that’s how bad riders wanted to run a front brake cable thru their forks. A regular old flat washer from the hardware store was used. Perfect for mid-school builds and anywhere else a M10-1.25 thread is used.
